Airbus A320 Commander | Former Deputy General Manager – Flight Safety, Air India
Capt. Nanditaa Chitraa Halder has spent over two decades at the forefront of commercial aviation operations. As a Commander on the Airbus A320 family, she has operated across domestic and international sectors while handling real-world operational responsibility, crew leadership, and high-pressure decision-making environments.
Her tenure as Deputy General Manager – Flight Safety at Air India placed her at the center of aviation safety governance, operational compliance, risk analysis, and safety system implementation for one of India’s largest airlines.

Full-Time Aviation Instructor:
Capt. Debasish Roy
Capt. Debasish Roy serves as a Full-Time Instructor at ICAS and forms a core part of the academy’s academic structure and student mentorship system. With over 20 years of aviation experience, he brings together operational airline flying, aviation instruction, and aviation training management.
His professional background includes serving as a Flight Instructor at AA Aviation, Flight Dispatcher at Alliance Air, and Captain on Boeing 737-200 and Boeing 737-800 aircraft with Alliance Air and Air India Express. He has also served as Chief of Training at FlyUs Aviation Institute and has logged more than 7500 flying hours.
His ability to connect technical aviation concepts with real operational examples allows students to develop deeper conceptual understanding and airline-oriented thinking throughout their DGCA preparation journey.
Visiting Aviation Instructor:
Wing Commander P.S. Bose
Wing Commander P.S. Bose brings military precision, operational discipline, and advanced aviation expertise to ICAS. A distinguished veteran of the Indian Air Force Flying Branch, he contributes more than 23 years of operational flying experience along with 17 years in aviation instruction and training.
As a DGCA-certified instructor in Navigation, Aircraft Performance, and Special Operations, he has trained aviation professionals across multiple operational environments. He also served as the former Head of the Operations Performance Department at the Centre for Training Excellence (CTE), Air India.
His mentorship adds a unique layer of structured operational thinking, technical precision, and performance-oriented aviation training that benefits students preparing for professional airline careers.
